    Talking Project Help

    Fellas,
I have been working on a project for quite some time and have it "completed." I feel like I've learned a lot throughout the process, mainly from reading posts here on the Board. I feel like there are many instances where my app could be better-coded, made more efficient, or maybe enhanced in some way.

I want to upload the project and make it available to the board and possibly get some other people working on it with me. I did not know where to post this so I'm sorry if there is a dedicated section for Member Projects or something.

Do I just upload the project files in a zip file to make them available for others to download?

This is a DVR (or any IP-based device) checking utility that performs notification of status, camera changes, and hopefully data-charting at some point. I have a "list" of items that I would like looked at for "revision" and some "to-do" items as well.

If you are interested, PM me for more details.

If there is a better area for this thread, let me know, and I can update it with more details on the project.

    Thanks.

There is a forum called "Code It Better", this may be the section that's most appropriate.

Where I'm from we only have one bit of advice for new comers: "If you hear banjos, turn and run".

Agreed, so I've moved this thread to that forum.

(thanks to Pradeep1210 for letting the moderators know )

That would probably be the best idea.
