Christmas in Toronto
Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'

Cold enough!
Depends on the year, but count on daytime highs anywhere from 0 to -10 and lows from -5 to -15. Check the weather network for averages: http://www.weather.com/outlook/trave...nthly/CAXX0504
Cheers.

Toronto gets pretty cold, I've been there when it was -25 before.... Since you're right beside lake Ontario, you'll get some pretty strong/cold winds if you go anywhere downtown...Usually around Christmas it isn't too bad, though...I'd say -15 tops.

Re: Christmas in Toronto
The winds really bother me. The cold not so much. I bet once it starts to go sub-zero, there would not be too much difference between -15 and -25 degrees celsius.
Last year, I went backpacking in -12 degrees Celsius. That was fun. That's the coldest experience I have had. I don't remember anything colder than that, whilst outdoors.
I have sat through snow storms, but that was with the heat on in the comfort of a dwelling.

Re: Christmas in Toronto
I was out in -30 a couple years back (it hardly matters which scale at that temp, but it was F). Didn't feel all that cold, really. Had to break the dog off the fire hydrant, and wasn't sure if the break had been in a safe area until he thawed out.

If it gets too cold, do cows give out ice-cream instead of milk?

If yes, then ensure they eat lot of ice cream cones or ice cream stick...

Being warm blooded, they can't give out ice cream. However, they shiver constantly, so they dispense milk shakes.
