    replace sstab control

My app has a couple sstab controls. Once in a while i get errors that Component 'TABCTL32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid. This is a rare occurance, but have decided to replace the sstab control without having to install another ocx. Seems i have read where users have used frames with command buttons as tabs is the best way ? or ?

If you are not going to use another OCX then you have to use the materials you have so that frames and buttons are as good as way to go as any.

I'm not sure how it is going to look though.

You can use a UserControl like the one of Steve

So, no problems to register a control.

Perhaps it would require an OCX, but that OCX probably isn't going to give you the registration headaches that 'TABCTL32.OCX' does.

Try getting the full version of the OCX file, instead of the freeware. Well, that's what it seems like. But here is the file you you!!
