That's not really possible I'm afraid. In theory the "mailto" protocol supports attachments but I'm not aware of a mail client that supports it. I know Outlook certainly does it. That would be the only way to generalise the process to any mail client. The only other alternative would be to write code to handle each individual mail client, which isn't really practical and, in some cases, may not even be possible.
