You mean when you clicked on File > Reopen ? Is there a specific menu item? Any more details would help. Thanks!

I downloaded it again and it works fine now. Maybe the file got screwed up by IE. Heres some tips though, if you can, get rid of the setup file. If you can, just zip it up and have it save the file paths. And how about being able to keep all the different windows connected so they dont overwrite each other.

Thanks for letting me know that VASM is working.

The reason why I'm using a setup program is because I'm currently registering one DLL that I'm using in VASM. In addition, there will be a lot more "features" in VASM such as example projects, tutorials, wizards, and even some assemblers such as MASM or NASM included as a complete package.

Also, the "visual form designer" will be extended and included in an upcoming version.

So, the distribution size of VASM will grow over time. What I could do is make two seperate packages available: one that has everything included and the other just for bare bones. How about it?

Sounds good. The reason I don't like setup programs, is because you never know what they're doing. And they always add shortcuts to places you dont want them. But I'll get over it. If you want, I'll go through it and add my opinion about every thing in VASM to this thread, and I'll post bugs and such. But only if you want my opinion, I dont want to spend the time if you don't actually want it.

That would be great. Any feedback is good.

Keep in mind though that many functions are not yet implemented (and are grayed out) and I will complete these within the next few weeks.

Ok heres what i found. Not alot, mainly because like you said theres alot of stuff not implemented. Here they are...

    VASM Bugs and Tips

    1. When you maximize the main window, you can still move it.

    2. In syntax highlighting, under the "key" element, its originaly set to bold, and i turned the bold off but it stays bold in the editor.

    3. All the windows dont dock and they overwrite each other.

    4. When you have a document (opened or new), and you press the close(x) button, it doesnt close. I end up having to right click on the tab and close it.

    5. In the project manager, the scroll bar gets covered by a status bar.
