    $30 for a copy of 1984?

Three words: used book store. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

The article notes that they only paid $0.99, so that is a MASSIVE return on investment.

Where can I get me some of that?

Bloody Kindle coming to the bloody UK - I bought the Sony Reader thinking "Pshhawww, the Kindle will never come to the UK, I'll never get to enjoy the myriad delights of the Kindle enjoyed by the 'merikkans across the pond, I should just settle for second best and make the most of it."

    And here it is!!!

Freaking Amazon. And 'merikkans. And pond.

Kindle is fantastic! It's like a book but instead of boring, dry, cheap paper it's a lot of shiny, expensive electronics that you have to spend money on every time the batteries go flat.

I never thought I'd see the day when Mendhak damned the pond.

People read books? So that's where I'm going wrong.
