[RESOLVED] Wrong text encoding when sending email - classic asp
Hi,
I have a process that sends an email and writes the email content in a file. While the file encoding is correct, the accented characters sent in the email are not shown properly. For instance, the character "ç" is shown as "ç". This only happens with data submitted by a webform. All other accented characters sent in the email that are not submitted by the user are shown properly in the email.
Any ideas to solve this?
thanks

You have indicated that this has been solved.
Rather than remove the thread, which we do not like to do, I ask that post your solution. It might help others with the same or similiar problem.
Thanks.

there was no header indicating the charset.
By using this one, my problem got solved.
Code:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" />
thanks
