How to prevent user from refreshing sql page?
Hello Everyone,
On my ASP pages I have users tha will submit information to the next page that inserts it into a sql table. How do i keep them from clicking Refresh and having it do this process again? I hate to have a session flag to manage throughout the site. And I thought of checking what url page it is called from but there are a couple that after adding a record, it lets you do it again from the same page. I think I do this at only one place so if I had to I could change that one and then just not run it if you reload the same page.
What I was wondering is if there is any way to clear out what parameters being passed to a page once you do it so if you click refresh, they are not passed back in.
Thanks!!
Warren

Is it <%Response.Expires=-1%> ?
Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'
