Smile Evaluate the forums (why not?)

I think it would be a good idea to evaluate the forums, as there are many people who are here for months and years. Either in Chit Chat or not. For those who have just arrived, I think they will find your opinion(s) usefull.
At least, I believe that by being here, something in us changes, no? With me it did anyway and I'm glad.
So, tell us (if you want)...
    • How were you when you first arrived into these forums
    • How are you now
    • How much the forums contribute for your evolution as a programmer or/and as a person

I arrived at the forums from a search on Yahoo! I'm now addicted as you can see (left). These forums are great, at first I only used them to exploit the knowledge here, but then I started posting on the Chit Chat forum and realised there was much more here than a bunch of ppl who could help me out. These forums are a fantastic source for programming, without them I wouldn't know half the stuff I know now, they are also much easier for finding how to do API stuff thatn other sites.

[Reminisce]When my grandad gave me Werther's Original for the first time I remember thinking I must be some very special...Sorry, wrong subject
    • I knew nothing, i didn't even have VB . This place had only been going a couple of months, I can't remember how I found it, but the likes of Aaron Young, Serge, Yonatan were tru kings at the time.
    • Now I lead my very own *exclusive* club (rumble with HB's club, tonight 9pm. Bring paint)
    • What I have learned cannot be comprehended by humans (like the size of the universe)

Sure, but non-members have to bring a parent's consent form (it's a law thing).

    1: I was fine, thanks.
    2: Still fine, thanks.
3: I tie the phone line up a lot more now
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".

I believe the words of a song give me this one:

I once (1. Was Lost) but now (2. Am Found)....
And these forums have contributed to my VB success...

    (Sure thats it)
All contents of the above post that aren't somebody elses are mine, not the property of some media corporation.
    (Just a heads-up)
