    Designer file gets messy

My project gets rather big. Now sometimes when loading the design file I get this error. But the project compiles without any problems and runs fine. Some one any idea where to start or what to do?

When you get that error, if you then close the open documents, and do a rebuild, are you able to open the form normally in the designer?

After a rebuild I can open the designer. But after a run or debug I can't load the designer.

I get that once in a while... I find a simple rebuild is all it takes. I only worry about it when even a rebuild doesn't work.

Worst case, I shut down VS, re-start it, open the solution, compile, then open the designer file.
