    Resolved [RESOLVED] Post Notifications

    Hello,

I was wondering if there was an option where you can subscribe to new posts that are regarding a particular topic?

Let's say you were interested in any new threads regarding MySQL. Is there a way to set up a notification that when a new thread is created with MySQL in the title or in the body of the post, you are sent an email?

    Thanks

    Gary

Nope, not that I know of anyways. But you could subscribe to the database forum which would notify you of new threads in there. Then check out the notifications if the title looks appealing.

Cool! I did not realize I could subscribe to each individual sub-forum.
when you quote a post could you please do it via the "Reply With Quote" button or if it multiple post click the "''+" button then "Reply With Quote" button.
If this thread is finished with please mark it "Resolved" by selecting "Mark thread resolved" from the "Thread tools" drop-down menu.

    Re: Post Notifications

    Hey,

Yeah, that is certainly one way of doing it, however, that may lead me to spending even more time than I already do on VB Forums

I was using MySQL as an example, but it would have applied to a number of topics. Thanks for replying though.

    Gary
