Need Excellent tips for people who ain't so clued up on computers

Windows Logo -> u -> u will shutdown the computer.

Alt + F4 will close the active window, my kid loves it.

Not on Vista, much to my disappointment as I use that a lot. Also I dont think it would work on an XP machine joined to a domain as you get a different shutdown dialog (with a drop down list instead of the nice buttons)
