I've got the eating well bug...

After tucking into another take away of Sunday I realized that all it tasted off was grease. I dunno why this came on but lately I have been hankering for things like crusty white bread sambo's with radish, good Cheddar cheese, peppers and lettuce.

I've started cooking (I can't boil and egg, see my blog) and today made mash potato's with spring onion and sticky mango gammon steak which was amazing. My partner thinks I'm ill but I just have become sick of the mcdonalds grease fest of the last five years.

I really hope this keeps up, the one thing that could let me down is lunch as I usually buy rubbish but hopefully I can plan ahead.

BTW tomorrow I'm having Swiss baked gammon (left over) and potato cake with garlic infused cheese and a creme fresh sauce!

The eating well bug is a terrible, terrible thing to have come into your life. Thus far, I've been blessed and have never had to endure that horrible affliction.

I'm certain this is just a passing phase and your life will get back on track soon.

Again, my most sincere condolences. With any luck you will be enjoying the quintessential delight of a double quarter pounder with cheese in no time.

I think I'm coming down with this as well.

All I want to do is drink water and eat fruit salad. I don't even want to smoke anymore.

    This must end.

He does a travel show in America, he goes around the world, eating local food and talking about local history/culture. Though he has nothing against greasy foods occasionally, he hates chain and corperate food, he considers it mediocrity and having no soul or passion.

You can google him for info.

    You're having a game

I have the eating well bug, the eating junk bug, and the eating bugs bug. They've all been with me my whole life. I'm thinking of naming them. Perhaps Tom, Ick, and Hairy, or something like that.

Just got back from a nice hike (my second this month, but only six days this time). My food consumption during the drive home, and my consumption after I got home, covered all the food groups, four of the kingdoms (and might have included the fifth kingdom (protista), if the subsequent reaction is any indication, but no more on that subject), a couple non-living objects, and maybe even the neighbors poodle. Much of that consumption came from the very top of the food pyramid, but I don't make a point of it.

When I tell you to go take a hike, you're supposed to be insulted, not take it literally!

You spent the entire hike just working that gag out, didn't you?

I'm glad I'm still on Eating Rice Bug...

And despite London's lack of proper rice serving restaurants, I managed to find one small cafeteria that serves a decent meal with rice in it near work. Now I am happy again. That is until this cafeteria decides to trash the rice meal deal they have like the other restaurant i used to go to for lunch.
