Re: Region Free DVD's
A region free dvd player can play any dvd no matter what the region of the disk. A region free DVD can be played on just about any standard DVD player.

Re: Region Free DVD's
If your DVD player doesn't play them, either the disks or the machine are faulty.
Region free disks are meant to be played on all players, because the copyright etc of the programme is not region specific. Each disk has details of which region they are for, and "any" is a valid option - which a region-specific player should treat the same as its own region value.

Re: Region Free DVD's
if that is the case, my sincerest apologies, I should have thought that maybe a website offering DVD's in a forum regarding dvd's might be advice and not spam.

You mean the line that says:
You will not use profanity in our forums, and will neither post with language or content that is obscene, sexually oriented, or sexually suggestive nor link to sites that contain such content
which includes starring out profanity....

I believe that is the first time I have done that, and after that, it shall be the last, I didnt realise that it was still considered profanity, so I apologise again to all whom are offended.

If it was a BIG deal I would have edited your post and removed it, banned you for life and hunted down your next of kin.
We just like to keep it clean here, despite the fact that many chit-chat regulars do not shower on a regular basis
starring out 2 letters of a 4 letter profanity word is pretty much the same thing as just typing it.

well I aim not to have it happen again, so a lesson has been learned... from now on I shall try and use a cleaner and politer way, why I actually used that at that time I cant think...
maybe I should refresh myself with the Ts and Cs, it has been a while...

Can we nominate members for this ?
For Aussies
Panasonic players are region free for no apparent reason, most of the other brands aren't for no apparent reason.

Re: Region Free DVD's
you can change the region of a DVD player by using the Remote. there is a site that tells you how to do this.
Not sure if it works will all but i does with most (Or used to anyway)
