Re: HTC Touch Diamond 2
I haven't got that one, but I got the HTC Touch HD.
Its specifications is nearly identical to the HD, and I think the HD is great... so it's probably a great phone!
The only differences I can see is:
+ Its smaller! This is very nice.
- It hasn't got a 3.5 mm audio jack, this is something of a must for me, as I use my phone as an mp3 player from time to time, but perhaps you can live with using an adapter!

It has good reviews from what I've seen.
I'm holding out for new ones from HTC for Win6.5.

Yeah I heard they are going to offer a free upgrade to WM 6.5 for anyone who bought the phone with WM 6.1 installed though

Where did you hear this? From what I've heard, HTC are pretty bad in that sense that they do not care to offer previous customers those kind of nifty updates. It's like they "forget" the people that have purchased "older" models.
Thats just what I've heard though, I hope it ain't so

I forget the exact model (because cell companies rebrand these things in the US often) but I had an HTC 6800 on verizon wireless, and it was the biggest piece of crap. I paid like 500 bucks, and returned it promptly for a non smart phone, but it at least worked.
That isn't to say they haven't gotten better, but man that phone was HORRIBLE.

If HTC dont change their mind and bring an official update to the HD, they can kiss my...
