Re: Usage of VBForums Logo in Facebook
We'd need to own and control the FaceBook group in order to avoid any legal issues with copyright/trademark infringement. Joe should be the one to setup and control a Facebook group (and page/fanpage) for VBForums.
In general, we want the discussions here and not on someone else's site, so we tend to not be big at creating discussion areas on other social networks.

Re: [RESOLVED] Usage of VBForums Logo in Facebook
Just in case anyone doesnt know, every member on here has their own mini profile where people can leave comments and I think you can upload a picture or two. Whilst its no facebook, it might be enough to satisfy some of your social networking needs :P

Yep -
We don't have 'walls', but you can post on someone's visitor page. You can post pictures in your gallery. If you are a Power Poster, you can create social groups (if you aren't a power poster, you can ask and someone that is might be willing to create a group if it fits the forum). etc. etc. etc.
btw -
VBForums is a part of Internet.com.
Internet.com is currently owned by WebMediaBrands.
For the most part, best to simply think of VBForums as being a part of Internet.com. It is simpler that way

Actually, in my book, Web 2.0 Heroes (shameless plug), you can learn what internet.com cost Alan Meckler (WebMediaBrands). I interview him in the book.
In 1997, we got an opportunity to buy the domain name Internet.com from a company that was going bankrupt. We bought that for $250,000 in the spring of that year, and changed our name to Internet.com"
There is more, so check out the interview in the book
Brad!
