VB 3.0 created program crashes Windows ME
I have a simple 900Kb program in Visual Basic 3.0 that I gave to a friend who has Windows Millennium. It appears to load but the computer crashes. On restart it says "improper shut down detected" and runs scan disk for errors. The program is in a self extracting setup.exe file that places vbrun300.dll in the window system directory and puts the main program in a directory of its own under program files. Is the problem that I am using 16-bit VB 3.0? If so, what vb versions can I switch to that will import my vb3.0 files? Thanks

I don't know if you can directly import VB3 files to a never version of vb, but if you are going to upgrade, I recommend that you upgrade to VB6.
