    I've got this problem of how 2 get a certain apps version number ... I've tried to research in VB but to no avail... Is there any solution to this ... Other PL are welcome hope they won't mind ... TY

    Do you mean the version of the application. If you are using vb you could use souce safe and save versions in there.

    If its other applications, im not really sure, maybe if you have the code you could open up the form in notepad and take a look at creation date.

    Thanx Serge, I've tried it, but, how about apps created for older pc's, dos based,(ie..r non MS products), or non-32 bit apps... Can u help me w/ this thanx a lot ....
