Clunietp,
AAAAAAAAhhhhhhh go on tell me, am I right, am I, am I, am I, although now that you're talking about secret identities I'm beginning to think you might be Batman
netSurfer,
I hope it is by choice, moving on up etc.
And by the way I totally agree one for all and all of that.
Bill Gates,
Nice touch, but seriously how much do you pay Tom?

I would hope that Microsoft keeps an eye on this and other similar forums. How else could they find out what their users really want and need? I have been converting a very large application originally written in VB3. I am using VB6. It is amazing to me that people could do anything in VB3. Very little was automatic. Almost everything was an API call or a separate routine kept in a programmer's toolbox. I appreciate the improvements and anticipate much more. I also don't think these things would have been done without user input.

netSurfer,
I was gonna tell you that i had plenty of work I could throw your way, but I checked your profile and the bad news is you live on the other side of this planet..........but hey Clunietp could get you a job in Microsoft going around bulletin boards pushing their products and stuff, I think it pays well, but he won't say........(yeh, I know but I just can't let it go)

Serge is correct on this one, who care if MS have people on this board, maybe they can see what directions programmers want vb to go in.
Bill Gates, ok if you are not the big guy, and your name isn't Bill Gates, (must be more than one), then you are breaching a number of laws/moral codes etc. If you are the big guy, then could you please whip your programmers over the amount of bugs ms products have in them, AND where can l get MS Agent version 3.

I think getting paid or not is not a major issue.

Sorry folks but I've been away for a couple of weeks and when I get back I see such a disgusting thread.
There are some guys in this fourm that if Microsoft doesn't pay them then they should because they are the reason for some of us to still programm.
I leave here my respects to VB gods like:
- Clunietp
- Aaaron Young
- And all senior members that got that status through answering thread from people like me.
Thank you all,

So some programmers do have a sense of humour.
