Personality Types
Hi, I am doing a research project on programmers and Myers-Briggs personality types. So, if you can post your personality type, eg. ISTJ, and how many years you have been programming. That would be much appreciated. If you do not know your personality type you can go here to find out: http://www.personalitypathways.com/type_inventory.html
Thank You.

Re: Personality Types
Is this a VB.Net question?

Re: Personality Types
I don't think this is a VB.net question - try the general programming forum.

Re: Personality Types
Since your question has been moved to a more appropriate forum, this is my answer: INTJ, 4 years.

Re: Personality Types
Since I am working with .NET, I would say JIT, six years.
However, for the MB ranking, it kind of looks like I lean towards INFJ, though the only one I feel strongly about is the I, with each subsequent one being less and less certain, until the F was nothing more than a coin toss, and the J was barely even that.
I've been programming in one form or another for 30 years, but as a part of my career for only 16 years.

Re: Personality Types
Seems to me I'm an INTP. I like to just try things out and see what becomes of 'em (an approach I refer to as "Leeroy's Approach").

ESFP, 10 years
I am the opposite to Shaggy — the last two are the only ones I feel strongly about and the first two answers could have gone either way.

Re: Personality Types
ISTP 3 years, although the last could be either really. And the first is probably 60% I, 40% E.

The forum was originally British, so there's bound to be a lot of T.

Re: Personality Types
INTJ and I've been coding for about 20 years (about 10 professionally)
The answer to most was 'Kinda both' though.
