Packaging and Installing VB6 Application

I once packaged a vb 6 app that uses lot of API. During the process it required so many dll, most especially the once refrenced in my app.

I noticed however that installing on the client computer made that computer stop browsing. all effort to revive it prove futile

I found that my app has replaced the winet.dll the dll for win internet network


How do i packaged next time to avoid such error, bcos my app will be used in win98 upwards to win vista and am afraid of it replacing system dll and ocx?

how do i check in my app for compatibilities of dll?

whid do i replace and not replace?
