Cannot delete project folder
Hi All.
I'm using VS2008 and cannot to delete old project from windows explorer on the server. After press delete button I got message:
Cannot delete ProjectName: It is being used by another person or program.
I tried restart machine nothing help. I know exactly nobady use that project.

Check its properties to ensure it is not marked as read-only.
If it is on a server, do you have delete permissions on that server?

The folder not Read Only. I have permitions to delete files on the server.

Ok...when this has happened to me in the past, I went down to the command prompt, and delete the whatever from there, external to windows and windows explorer.
I never had anything tell me I couldn't delete it from there.

Thanks for replay.
I still have same problem. After restart server I had ability rename or delete folders. But in my situation I cannot use that procedure often. Now again I cannot delete or rename folders. Folders located on network and I have permeation delete, rename folders. When I tried to delete, rename or remove Read only for folder I got mesage:
"Cannot rename FolderName. Access is denied. make sure the disk isn't full or write-protected and that the file isn't currently in use"
Nobody use that folder and space on the disk is fine.

Hi All.
Need help.
Problem to modify project that located on server. When try to delete any project's file message is popup:
"The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."
I tried to used command prompt of server, same result. When I'm on desktop machine everything works normally.
