    New Project Help Please

    Hi all,
    I am new to VB as i used to use Access 2007 but now want to start using VB instead.

    What i am trying to do i create a Proof of Delivery system to download on our PDA's.

    This will involve using delivery address, number of items and a Signature Capture Screen so the goods can be signed for.

    This will hopefully in the end be done by using something to add the deliveries to then upload them to the net where the PDA can then drag the information off.

    Any ideas where i need to start...as i say i have never used VB before.

    Hey,

    Can you maybe clarify exactly what you are wanting to do?

    Are you wanting to create an Application that will run on a Windows Mobile Device (i.e. PDA)? That is what it sounds like.

    You have posted in the ASP.Net Forum, which is really about the creation of Web Applications and Web Services. Is this what you want? If so, can you provide some more information.

    Nothing like starting with a simple project - and this is nothing like starting with a simple project

    First thing would be what is your basic architecture? Do you have SQLServer on an accessible server that needs updating?

    Do you wish to store the data locally, and update on a timely basis?

    There are lots of design questions before you start coding
