    Question Java

Could anyone recommend a good Java development product. I need to start developing applets that allow database connections, etc.
Thanks in advance for any help provided.

    VB 6 Enterprise Edition SP4
ADO, SQL 7/2000, ASP and some JavaScript

    JBuilder 4 is pretty decent..

As IDEs go, Java IDEs are not very mature. So don't expect the same bells and whistles you get in MS IDEs.

JBuilder Foundation is pretty good, although since it's written in Java it's a tad slow and needs lots of memory. Once it's running it's fine though.

    PS: It's free
