    Question Mac

    Can Macbook-computers run programs from a vb 2008 .net, Windows Vista computer?

    No. Macs use different architecture than PC's. You'd have to use something like Parallel Desktops to boot up Windows and run your programs from in there. Or if you're technical enough, and you have the right hardware, you could dual boot Windows.

    Mono is your best bet if you'd like to develop using .NET on Mac or linux.

    I got a friend with a macbook, he want my program on his computer... So he cant get it?.

    If your friend installs Mono, I think he should be able to run it without you needing to recompile it specifically for mono.

    I've heard Mono has had a lot of advancements in copying the Framework....but I don't know the extent of its power.
