Project "Natal" - XBox 360 of the Future
If this is the future of controllers, then all I can say is, "Wow".
The next thing you should be asking yourself as a developer is... If this is the controller interface for gaming, what can we do with the interface to a computer?

Im not sure why this is in Forum Feedback...but I'm going to ignore that fact just because its you Brad!
I think project Natal is looking very interesting. I'm not sure how useful it'll be in most games. I think I'd still prefer the normal controller for the most parts..but still, I cant wait to see what project Natal brings us in the future.

Yeah in fairness its becoming like spam. I can understand your reluctance to put any of this in CC because of how CC is but even general developer would be a better place.
On the subject of project NATAL I will belive it when I see it, Peter Moylenuex is involved so don't hold your breath!

Re: Project "Natal" - XBox 360 of the Future
Watching the video, I'm reminded of an episode of "The Big Bang Theory" where the characters are huddled around a cellphone trying to get it's voice recognition to work properly and you find out they're actually playing "mock the flawed technology".
I don't see this technology being hardened enough to do any serious gaming with even in the next generation of consoles. Look at the Wii remote. It's getting a hardware upgrade, but it's still too insensitive to use for anything hyper-accurate such as a first-person shooter, and even using it to move a pointer around the screen takes 3 times as much effort to get the precision as something like a mouse.
When and IF NATAL comes out, I'll be over at my buddy's Gamecrazy store playing "mock the flawed technology" with him and listening to the cynicism of Zero Punctuation.
