Question Prevent Users from saving images?

Is there any way that I can allow a user to view a image but prevent him from downloading or saving the image?

Can I use a special format or something?

Are there any tools available to give the image a watermark or something???

No. If they've viewed the image they have already downloaded it and saved it in the browser's cache. The closest I've seen to do what is want is with a Java app, and you can bypass it easily via screen grabs.

    Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.

    What would a watermark do?

Actually, I find it really annoying when I am on a site that tries to do this. There is nothing and I mean NOTHING on a web page that I can not capture if I want it.

Like Josh said.. it is already downloaded to my computer in order for it to be displayed at all.

Take a look at this thread, it's the closest your going to get to preventing an image from being saved.
