Well, I'm puzzled...
I quite like that.

The pieces won't fit together because the green rectangle only has a two unit protusion while the purple rectangle has a 3 unit protrusion..

Ok, yes i can see that they don't fir together properly, did you happen to notice though, that the two triangles have exactly the same size peices in them, and the big triangles are the same size, yet the lower one has one square spare...
Now, aren't you sorry you didn't just keep on scrolling?

Yes, I did notice they have the exact same size and amount of pieces... I've been confused by this before, but I found there are some things you just don't question... like Harry's sexuality.... he gets really pissed about that

Ummm.... Now, should i stick up for Harry, seeming as he is my best mate, or should i join in and take the piss. Now, if i was Harry, what would i do?
Probably bend over.

The shape they make in either arrangement isn't a triangle. If you look at the gradients of the red and green triangle pieces, you'll see they're different - blue gradient is 2/5, red gradient is 3/8.
There's a very thick outline on the image so you can't see the distortion, making it look triangular.

Oh yes and before I forget:
shut it
I think the natural response when I'm being propositioned by you, Dennis, is to get a little tetchy. I keep telling you I'm not interested but you just don't listen. It's never gonna happen.
And Jamagei, you'll get your kicking later.

If you're not planning on giving it to me(I wouldn't want it anyway, I don't know where you got the impression I did), why do you beg for it everynight?

looks like i missed something very easy, well actually because the same problem was posted in the maths forum quite a while ago

writing haskell makes your life easier:

Dennis, all I'm beggin for is for you to shut the ***** up and stop bugging me. Jeez, all I want is some peace and quiet so I can sit and brood, burning up with hate and training myself up for a school shooting by playing Unreal Tournament.

Okay, that's no fair, they didn't give you a triangle to start with. I thought that was one of the postulates and thus assumed the slopes were the same on the two peices. Very muchly so not fair.

Harry, I am beginning to wonder about your sanity. If you start wanting to go around killing people maybe you ought to Wait until after you birthday, as you shall be able to do it in more style than just shooting the bastards.
