    Need Help/Suggestions

    Hello,

    Anyone here from Los Angeles?

    Actually I have been admitted to University of Southern California for Graduate studies (Computer Science of course). I was looking for cheaper but good accommodation options near the university. I am yet to decide whether to opt for Housing at university or somewhere else.

    Can somebody help me deciding on this? Will university housing be a good option? Although, financially this can be a burden later on.

    Is there any way I can book a good and cheap room from here? I tried googling but couldn't see something helpful.

    Get the LA Times Sunday edition and look in the classifieds for rooms to rent. You could also get Recycler that is sold at 7/11 stores and the like and look in there for rooms to rent. The very cheapest places to rent may also be tough high crime rate areas. There are probably some good internet sites to check when looking for rooms to rent in LA. Keep looking. I used to live in LA but moved from LA to where I am now back in 1998.
