i think that when the email is posted to me, it should say in the subject, what the name of the post was,
i.e. if i received a post for this it would say
To: [email protected]
Subject: suggestion for administrators, VB-World Topic.
this would allow members, to delete notices, for messages of which they are already aware of.

Excellent idea. I have tons of messages just sitting there on my computer, not knowing what they are for. I mean, if it's possible to do what silvy suggested, the website can only end up being one thing - better.
