Face Recognition - Wearing Recognition acctually

Hi again,

i am making a security purpose application that will take a snapshot of a person when show up at a camera and open a door...

The real procedure will be this:

- Person stands at door...
- Proccessing...
- See if person wear glasses or hood - if wears the program must say him to disrobe / un-wear (the door not opens-goto proccessing) - to take a clean snapshot.....
- Snapshot
- Open Door

I search with google and found FaceApi (www.faceapi.com) - that can track the face but i can't found something that will recognize Sunglasses or a Hood... It is really cool - can find the face in ms but....

Anyone can help with Face-Recognition or have any idea...

faceapi not helps... is only for tracking moves... not see if someone wear glasses or hood...

Maybe its a long shot but if the program/faceapi recon a face (from coords) could it also recon the actual size of a face? if so, if the face is larger/bigger the person may wear a hood or glass. also when the program does not recon anything at all, so none is been detected then the person is wearing a hood/glasses, i suppose.

so i want to know if someone wears glasses or hood... by creating a program in vb - may be using some api library..

The size of face is possible to find it... it is nothing... (not exactly nothing but possible)

COOL MAN YOU ARE BUILDING A GREAT THING, BUT THIS WILL EAT ALL YOUR TIME AS IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR A SINGLE PERSON TO DO ALL THE WORK....
MAYBE YOU SHOULD USE SOME SOFTWARE WHICH IS ALREADY IN MARKET
-> YOU CAN USE FINGERPRINT RECOGNISATION THING, IT WILL BE MORE BETTER....

May be, i did'nt give the right info... the code must recognize if someone wears glasses or hood... not recognizing specific person to pass a door...

Simply if wear something to their face. ...Can do it with thermalsensor or camera that ?
any idea ?

I think that should be possible,as there are cameras that can detect a smile on a persons face and take their photograph.

All you have to do is to look for dark spots below the forehead...

I have no idea how you would write something like this... but if you do, tell the person to "remove your sunglasses". If you tell them to disrobe they may end up naked.
