Surely, you mean "invest" in sleeping?

    Re: Sleep

I try to get 8 hours a night, but usually I end up getting 7 hours and taking a nap during the day.

    Re: Sleep

From Sunday - Thursday, I try to get as much sleep as possible. Often exceeding 10 hours. On the weekends, I don't sleep much. Maybe 4 - 6 hours in total.

Usually about 6 hours a night. Although I am good for a "power nap" on Saturday and/or Sunday on occasion.

Well about 6-8 hours on the weekdays; more when I have time.
(this is excluding naps in classes)

These days I find sleep to be a hindrance to the many things I want to do that I find those hours to be wasted. =(

    Re: Sleep

My hours of sleep generally range between 6-8 hours, Sun - Wed.

My weekend starts on Friday since I don't work that day (except for when I'm on-call...grrr), and as such my sleeping pattern varies WILDLY on Thurs, Fri, and Sat nights. I might get my usual 6-8 hours a night, or I could get 6-8 hours total for all three nights (this generally has bad ramifications on me the next week).

7-8 hours nowadays. 9 hours weekends.

Back in Phils, 5-6 hours was normal due workaholic inducing work I had there.

    Re: Sleep

Six hours is the absolute minimum for me - Usually get about 7.

I'll sleep 9-10 hours a night on weekends when there's no F1 race to wake up early for.

Do we get to count the 1 hour after we get up before we finally wake up? I'm not a morning person at all.

Do you use a syringe and if so what quantity of Mountain Dew do you inject?
Have you considered injecting straight caffeine?

    Re: Sleep

The easiest way is to watch the new Star Trek movie - when your eyes pop out of their sockets due to the sheer inaccuracy and audacity of the story, quickly use the injection to pop a few drops in.

I tried caffeine, but it put me to sleep after giving me MD withdrawal symptoms.
