Re: Pet Peeves
Huge annoyance to me: people who go to a fast food restaraunt where they know they are going to be asked what they want... and they don't have a clue. Similarly, the people who order for a small army, without actually bringing the army. What's worse, I ran into a combination during lunch today... six sandwiches, and not a clue what she wanted... the fact that she lived up to the stereotypical "sista" (rude, loud, generally obnoxious) didn't help my first impression of her much, either. For goodness sake, lady. You alone are holding up a line of a dozen people, all three workers behind the counter are focusing on YOUR order, and you don't even have the decency to say "please" or "thank you"? Come on.. that's just plain cold.

Add to this: the lady who doesn't know what she wants didn't start thinking about it until it's her turn to order, she'd just had 10 to 15 minutes waiting in line to figure it out like everyone else.

There's an economic term to explain this behavior. I cannot recall the name, but look up "Barry Schwartz" and "choice". You should get it.
Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'
