[RESOLVED] COMException (0x80040154)

Hello, I am just trying to run an application on another mashine than I created it and I get this error - COMException (0x80040154)

I think it needs more files, but I copied the source, where could I find the other files necessary for it?

Anyone came across this error before please help

You're using an ActiveX control that you haven't registered on the machine running the application. It looks like you're using a COM version of a Microsoft chart component. There's no need for that as they have recently released a .NET chart component.

so how do I solve this problem, do I need install .NET chart to make it work on my computer?

Either register the ActiveX control on the machines you want to run your app on, which you can do using a Windows Installer Setup project or manually, or else get rid of the ActiveX control and use the .NET chart control instead, which will require recoding the charting functionality.

Any way to get the controls registered without the need to recode anything? Are there any help or samples how to do this on the net?

Ok sorry, my software packages are different than it used. It runs well on the other machine with VB 2005...
