    Resolved [RESOLVED] Rearranging forums list?

I noticed that VB FAQ was moved right beneath both "main" VBs.
But how about moving DB forum up to that neighborhood as well?
It's the third largest forum but it is buried in the middle of everything.

    Thanks.

    Re: Rearranging forums list?

If the moderators are okay with this, then I'm fine with it as well. Putting DB 4th and the scripting forum 5th would put all of the larger ones closer to the top.

Of course, this doesn't really move them that far, so if they stay, it isn't that big of a deal either.

The reason the FAQ forum was shifted down was due to the large number of posts that were made to it that should have been in one of the standard VB forums. A lot of posts were needing to be moved.

I think Rhino's grouping suggestion, with respect to the DB section, makes sense.

I agree with the idea, but think the DB forum should be below the Office Development forum - otherwise many more Access users will be posting VBA questions in the DB forum (at the moment it is just occasional).

While the DB forum has more threads/posts than Office Development, I think the difference is mainly historic, as they seem to get roughly the same amount these days (for the last month, DB has 242 threads versus ODs 221 threads).

So you are now really only talking about moving the Database forum up two spots. Is that really worth the change?

If it was only for me I would make it #3 but what SI's saying also makes whole lot of sense even though it moves up only 2 spots unless you want to move Office up as well and FAQ all the way down (second last to "slow chat").

I like the new arrangement, putting chit-chat and feedback at the bottom in their own group helps.
Currently using VS 2015 Enterprise on Win10 Enterprise x64.

I was very confused for a minute there, but I likes it
