    VBForums.com and IE8

    Starting from 2 weeks ago i have intalled IE8 and after i did this i was unable to access the VBForums thru IE by typing www.vbforums.com and i don't understand WHY ???

    Actualy i am on the forums by typing http://63.236.xx.xx0 ...

    Anyone can tell me how can i solve this problem ?

    ts - that was uncalled for and totally unnecessary and doesn't address the thread in anyway...

    Alex - Not sure what the problem is... I'm able to access VBF via IE8 with out any issues.

    Are you experiencing this when you try to visit any other site? What about when you use another browser?
    Really sounds like a DNS issue.

    When i try to Ping the vbforums.com i've got "Request timed out."
    I dont know why... but... i will never use another browser. I have try it to make "ipconfig /flusdns", to clear all the cookies... and offline contents of the IE8.

    I just don't understand!

    Have you tried www.vbforums.com?

    When vbforums.com is requested, you should automatically be directed to www.vbforums.com. It seems that IE8 isnt doing this correctly.

    As it did for me as well. You must have changed some setting that is causing this.
