    Connecting to a remote datasource

I have a database on a remote server and a table in it called users with feilds name, location, token. I want to develop an application to log onto the remote server access the database and populate a datagrid oh by the way the dns is calles websites and i have a frile and a system dns.

I have tried this with remote data conector and a datagrid and it works real well even with odbc as long as you have the dns on the local system. I want to log in to the odbc datasource and pull data out from there much like in an icq user search or like. I have asp pages displaying the data so it is set up correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Couldn't tell from your problem; do you need to connect to the DB and that isn't working? If so, try Server.MapPath.
