[RESOLVED] Last Edited...
It appears in your post after it was edited and it is a link now - strange new feature...
I'm wondering who's allowed to "browse" it? Only owner of that post or everybody (besides the admins of course)?

Here's one: http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?t=562382
Based on a quick test, it seems to only be visible to the owner and moderators/admins - but there is a chance that powerposters can see it (and thus previous versions) too.

Here is another: http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?t=562372
I couldn't "browse" edited post from SI's link so I'm good with that.
Thanks.

Re: [RESOLVED] Last Edited...
The linked "Last Edited by" is a new feature of 3.7.x which for members with permissions can view the Edit History of a particular post. Since I take it RB that you tried clicking it and getting nothing, then I would assume powerposters have no perms to it.

Re: [RESOLVED] Last Edited...
No, I can see all of my edits - I would be extremly unhappy if everybody else could browse all of my post edit history (except for mods).

For Mods there's a Compare Versions button that let's us see what it used to look like.

Re: [RESOLVED] Last Edited...
So to sum it up...
post owners can see the Compare Versions and non-post owners cant see any of the edit history. Cool as it should be

Re: [RESOLVED] Last Edited...
Last Edited by..." is a link on only posts that have been edited. Otherwise there will be nothing there. And if you mean the multi-quote its a new button to the right of the Qutoe button.

Re: [RESOLVED] Last Edited...
It should show when you have edited your post after some seconds has passed. Not sure how many seconds, probably a minute.
And it would be "Last edited by ...". See my previous post, I edited it.

Re: [RESOLVED] Last Edited...
There is a 3 minute limit. After the 3 minute time expires any edits after that will show the "last edited by..." link will appear.

Re: [RESOLVED] Last Edited...
No it works in all forums. Look in the testing forums thread http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?t=562382 and make a post. Then wait past 3 minutes, edit it, save it and then click on your link. You do not have permissions to view the edit history of someone else's post which is probably what youre getting confused on.

Its only within the first 3 minutes of making the post. After that it could be seconds between edits and it will log it.
