    Smile Outlook Export Mails to pst thru VB6

    hi, can anyone give a glimpse on how to export mails and contacts to pst from outlook thru vb6? thanks...

    Sure. Are you currently running in an Exchange environment? What version of Outlook and multi-version support or just for yourself?

    thanks RobDog888 current using outlook 2003, not using ms exchange, yup for myself.. can give an example for multi-version then would be better ... thanks again...

    Hmm if you are not using mailbox (exchange) then it should already be in a pst. The pst is called a Store object.

    thanks for the response Robdog, actually we're not using an exchange..our mails is just using a domain name..and from their we just configure outlook to send/receive thru that...

    so i just want to back-up the inbox and contact.. i can back-up the whole outlook.pst but it's quite a big file...

    well i try to work out on that idea you told me that pst is a store object ..
