    Suggestion

A suggsetion; would it be possible to break down the main programming forums (VB.Net, VB6) into sub-categories? I've noticed that nowadays it can take only 1 hr or so for a post to be bumped off the first page due to sheer volume of threads. But for the heroic efforts of certain dedicated members here, I suspect we'd hardly get any questions answered at all, and it's pretty frustrating when your new thread ends up on page 4 after less than a day.

Just trying to think of ways to help more people to get posts viewed and hence receive useful assistance.
    I use VB 6, VB.Net 2003 and Office 2010

    Code:
Excel Graphing | Excel Timer | Excel Tips and Tricks | Add controls in Office | Data tables in Excel | Gaussian random number distribution (VB6/VBA,VB.Net) | Coordinates, Vectors and 3D volumes

    Re: Suggestion

We create subcategories and a lot of people don't use them. The truth is, even if we break things down, most people will generally post into the biggest forum because they believe they have a better chance at an answer....

The only feasable way to do this would be to have a Database section, A Forms Section, a WPF section and so on. If you had even on "General" section people would post everything there.
