    i have been told by many people, that you can run exes on a personal web server, just as cgi would. i was wondering how somebody would do this. any help it greatful! thanx.

    Post EXE-CGI

    Those ExE files that someone told you really are CGI-scripts that compiled into EXE files. and they runs just like CGI-scripts because they are CGI-scripts... you can do this by edit the mine type in your webserver

    With pws, make sure that the folder that the exe is in is shared as (execute must be enabled). Just link to the exe as you would any other cgi script.

    You can write your own scripts in vb by downloading vb4cgi.zip (sorry no link, do a search or ask somebody)
