Connecting to a database on an ftp site

Hello, I am trying to create an online stock program. It is however for a computer class so we are required to output the program in an exe file. What the group i am working with is tyring to accomplish is create a user database with information on everythign they have submitted. We have created a access database and are wondering how to access it through the internet. We can upload it to the ftp and it is stored there. But now however we are wondering how to change the database. How to add information into it without the user having to download the file. If you can help me out on this it would be greatly appreciated.

You will need some kind of server program running on the computer the db is on to manipulate the db. The easiest would probably be ASP/ADO running on the server, accessed through a web browser interface.

    Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.
