[RESOLVED] Trojan report after getting an update
Hi there,
This morning I installed an update for the 'malicious software remover' thing from MS, but seconds after installing, AVG reported a trojan on lsass.exe.
I didn't do anything because I know that file is vital.
But I'd like to know if anyone else experienced this?
It's just that I don't know whether this is a bad update or just a lucky virus that installed itself after an update.
Thanks

Re: Trojan report after getting an update
Well I went looking for the warning log and found out the file was located in WINDIR\Cursors.
Seems it was a pretty well timed virus.
Although thanks for the idea.
