Think about this...

At first, Cooper told investigators he only recalled leaving God's Love shelter to go to an alley to drink wine and didn't remember anything past then up until arriving at the Gold Bar, where he was later apprehended by police.

"God's Love shelter" sounds like a place for the homeless & destitute. I'll bet this guy decided Montana winters were too much, got drunk, robbed a bank and now will have a warm bed and three square meals for at least the next few years...
