    MVP Summit

RobDog and I made it into this MVP Summit video

    http://www.microsoft.com/video/en/us...5-3c1123debc40

If you can figure out which ones are us (it should not be too hard to spot me since my pic is my avatar)

"Get the latest silverlight plugin to view this video"

    In Linux?

EDIT: When I reboot into Windows, I'll try to see the video.

I tried searching for Moonlight, but tbh it'd be much, much easier if I rebooted into Windows. Quicker too.

Ok, I tried it out, and it worked fine for me. Therefore, once again, it's just you, Klegg!

I have no idea what RD looks like, so I couldn't pick him out....unless he was the guy picking his nose in the last frame.

My appearance in this thread probably indicates that I'm going to say something deeply offensive about the kind of people that attend Microsoft conventions.

Let's assume that I've done that and we can just move on with our lives.

Last conference I went to, I got fully licensed copies of Vista Ultimate and VS2008 Standard, along with demo licenses for SQL Server 2008 and Server '08... and it was actually thanks to that conference that I started using LINQ in my daily operations...

    Re: MVP Summit

Poorly drawn I can't deny, but it is a vase of fish. I do see the similarity to a pineapple, though.

In an effort to be healthy, I always made it a point to bring a piece of fruit to work as part of my lunch (it goes well after the tub of lard and side of water buffalo that made up the main course). One day I decided to bring a pineapple. I love pineapple, but an entire fruit was a bit more than I could get through in a single day, and it was SUPER messy.

I love fresh pineapple. The trick is not to bring the fruit to the office before cutting it.

So a vase full of fish was a more sensible alternative? Riiiight, okay then.

    The "I'm a pc..." stuff...

A friend of mine was going to buy a PC (apply mac battery issues..), but when she saw those "I'm a PC ads" she decided to stick with Mac. Honestly, I can't blame her.

Oh, and the WMV link works OK - no need to install Silverfish.
