multiple listbox selections

Hello newbie here.
I have a form with a listbox set to multiple
I want to pass multiple selections from the listbox to a query
a database but I can find any information on how this is done
at the moment i just get a error message saying both bof and eof.
Does he split function come in to play somewhere.

Post some code so we can see what your doing wrong. You won't need the split function but you will need to access each item from the list separately in the Request object.
