New Client suiting the needs
i have a current project - an accounting software, and will be having a new client. The client has an existing accounting software. My objective is to sync or fill in the gaps between my software and their so that i can fit their needs to my software. My question is what is the best method to do this? Is there a good format or procedure to maximize the outcome of this process? Thank you so much.. please help.

Re: New Client suiting the needs
I would first meet with the client just to get an idea how they do their business so you can understand clearly what they need - you may need to setup series of meeting more than likely.
Then you may want to show them what you have and let them decide whether or not your package fits into their business requirements.
And so on... But general idea is if your software is not one of those that sold "as is" then you may need to customize it for each client - hopefully not too much..
