Re: Steps
I feel let down too
This reminds me of the time my good freind, Baby Balloon, finaly had to stop getting into his mummy and daddy's bed at night. "You're just too big to be getting into bed with us now, Baby Balloon, there isn't enough room and you'll have to sleep in your own bed from now on," said Mummy Balloon sternly. Crestfallen and sagging, Baby Balloon slowly floated away, his string hanging limply beneath him.
That night, though, Baby Balloon snuck into his mummy and daddys room. First he went to his father and very gently undid his knot, allowing a small amount of air to escape. Then he did the same with his mother, so gently she never stirred. Finally he loosened his own knot and allowed himself to deflate just a little bit before climbing into bed. Imagine his parents surprise when they awoke the next day and found him once more between them.
"Oh really, Baby Balloon," sighed his mother. "You've let your father down, you've let me down and, worst of all, you've let yourself down."
OK, OK, Sorry.
