That's sick beyond reason. Some foods go well together because they are chemically similar, but bacon and brownies? That sounds horrid.

I don't know if I've ever eaten a brownie in my entire life. As a child I grew up allergic to chocolate so that's one reason but even later when I outgrew the allergy I never got in the habit of eating it.

Seriously what country do you live in and have you ever eaten bacon? Perhaps you grew up in Alaska and only had Polar Bear bacon?

As strange as it sounds, chocolate and bacon go together quite well.... if you can find it.... try chocolate covered bacon sometime...... chocolate covered heart attack just waiting to happen...

One of the fave combinations from my childhood was a poached egg and jam sandwich. I discovered it when I asked for a poached egg and a jam sandwich and confusion ensued.

Why, yes I am... part Scott at any rate. Poached egg and jam? Hmm..... I've had over easy with jam.... hadn't tried it with poached though.... something to think about.
