[RESOLVED] Outlook 2007 mess up
Hi all,
Suddenly since last evening my outlook mail account(POP) is not working, I mean my mails are not receiving. I've contact the mail server provider and on that side no any issue.
So what I've done is, create an account on outlook express. It works.
So I've delete the account on outlook 2007 and recreate it again. Still the issue is exist.
Any comments on this really appreciate.
Thanks,

Re: Outlook 2007 mess up
Yes I've. Here is the error message. But it's confirmed that nothing is wrong with the mail server. All others are receiving mails.
Task ' [email protected] - Receiving' reported error (0x80040900) : 'The server name you entered cannot be found on the network (it might be down temporarily). Verify that you are online and that the server name is correct.'

Did you change the username back to what it was originally? Did that solve the problem?

Make sure the ports are set correctly and the servers have the correct names.

Re: Outlook 2007 mess up
The errors says "The server name you entered cannot be found on the network ...". So it's either you mispelled the server name(s) (POP3, IMAP and SMTP) in account setting or your have a DNS problem that it can't resolve the names. Double check to make sure you don't mispell anything. If the problem still persists, open command prompt and nslookup the name to see if it resolves the name correctly.

Re: Outlook 2007 mess up
Thanks for all the comments.
Actually there is nothing wrong with settings. As I said earlier on Outlook Express it's working fine. So at the end what I have done is, repair the office package. Not solved. So at last have a re-installation of my office package. It's working fine.
